Hello my name is Shannon Ward. I am in my 20th year of teaching. I have been with Davidson County schools going on 10 years. I attended St. Catherine College in Springfield, Ky. in 1997-98 and graduated with a BA in Education from Indiana University in 2002. I am so excited to be working with your child helping them learn and grow.

- Welcome to Tyro Elementary! Hello my name is Shannon Ward and I am entering my 18th year of education! My passion is helping children learn and grow not only as a student but also as a person! Some of my hobbies include: waching and playing sports, spending time with my family and interior design. I reside in Tyro with my husband and 2 boys, where we live on a small farm.
