Brittany Montauban

I am excited to be serving as an EC teacher here at Tyro Elementary School. I have been teaching special education for seven years and am currently in my second year working in the resource setting. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Child Study and am certified to teach both General Education and Special Education for birth through 6th grade.

After moving to North Carolina with my husband and two children, I continued my career in special education with a focus on individualized instruction. I enjoy the resource setting because it allows me to target each student’s unique goals and support them in reaching their fullest potential.

Outside of school, I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors, and tutoring students. I look forward to partnering with families and colleagues to help every child succeed.
