Meet Ms. Newsome

My name is Elizabeth Newsome.  This year I am teaching First Grade at Tyro Elementary School.  I love being part of the Tyro Elementary Family!

I attained my degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  I have a degree in Elementary Education Degree with a certification in Kindergarten through Sixth Grade.  In addition, I have a concentration in English, so I love CHILDREN'S LITERATURE!  I also have my Masters in Executive Leadership from Gardner Webb University.

I love teaching at Tyro Elementary.  I love sharing my ideas and teaching style with the Tyro Family!
