Meet Mr. Martin

Welcome Tyro Bears!

I am so happy to be a member of the Tyro Elementary family! I am a product of Davidson County Schools, and I am very excited to be back teaching in my home district. I graduated from Catawba College in Salisbury and hold Bachelors degrees in Elementary and Special Education. I am starting my fourth year in the classroom--I have previously taught fourth grade and fifth grade.

We are looking forward to an amazing year of fun and exciting learning in fifth grade, and I am extremely excited to for some of the experiences we have coming up! I have lots of fun experiences planned for our students in reading this year.
