Meet Mrs. Michener

Hello Tyro Bears!

My name is Jill Michener.  This is my fifth year teaching at Tyro Elementary School and this is my 18th year in education.  Throughout my years in education I have taught both 4th and 5th grades.

I was born and raised in Buffalo, New York.  I moved to Lexington in 2005 with my husband.  I graduated from SUNY Fredonia in 2000 with a degree in History and I continued on with my education at SUNY Buffalo where I earned my degree in Elementary Education.
