Assistant Principal

It is an honor to serve as the Assistant Principal of Tyro Elementary School. I am excited to partner with our dedicated staff, supportive families, and wonderful students to ensure that every child feels valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.  I look forward to celebrating successes, supporting growth, and working together to prepare our students for bright futures.  Please know my door is always open. I welcome the opportunity to connect with you, listen to your ideas, and collaborate in making this school year a great one for all.

  • Associates of Arts Degree from Davidson County Community College 
  • Bachelor in Elementary Education K-6 and Minor in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro 
  • Master of School Administration from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro through the Principal Preparation for Excellence and Equity in Rural Schools (PPEERS) Program

  • 2nd Grade Teacher at Southwood Elementary for 1 year
