Families and Supporters of Tyro Bears,
As principal of Tyro, I want to welcome you to our dynamic learning organization. We offer students in life skills, and kindergarten through fifth grade a diverse education that equips students for their future career in the 21st Century.
The staff and administration at Tyro exhibit strong dedication to student achievement and are continuously refining their teaching methods and strategies through various professional development opportunities. Every lesson, activity, and school-sponsored event is focused on doing what is best for students and helping them become successful citizens. We are committed to creating and maintaining an orderly, trusting, caring, and most importantly, safe environment where teaching and learning are exciting and students are assisted as they advance in their learning.
Clearly we value our students and staff, while we also recognize parents are an integral partner in the education of their child. Parents are the first educators our children experience. We welcome parents in our building and invite them to share in the learning process. Communication between home and school is vital. By joining the Tyro PTO, parents can become active members of a team that focuses on increasing resources for our students and staff as well as creating community events in which students will enjoy.
